Bookings & Payments

A confirmation email will be sent to students explaining the details for the course on which you have booked, the venue you have chosen, accommodation information if required, and all travel and parking details.

Introductory and Refresher weekends are paid for when booking. The Practitioner Diploma course can be paid for in one payment, or pay-as-you-go each module [7 x 2-day modules] starting with module 1 being one of the Introductory modules. Diploma students have to stay till 5.30pm on the first Introductory weekend as they have to accumulate hours and have an extra supervised practical. Modules 2-7 are not displayed on the website; a list of dates are sent via email and a payment link for each booking.

Cancellations

Once you have confirmed and paid for your booking with Karen Atkinson Workshops you have agreed to our terms and conditions regarding cancellations or changes.

If you need to cancel your place, please let us know as soon as possible -
If it is more than 48 hours before the date of the first day of the course we can offer you one of the following:

• a full refund
• a transfer to another course to be booked within 4 weeks
• a credit for the sum paid to be used within a calendar year.

If you give less than 48 hours notice -

• we will try to find someone to take your place, in which case we will give you a full refund
• if we cannot fill your place we will refund you 50% of the course fee

If the course has already started we cannot offer you a refund.

If we need to cancel a course, due to tutor illness or other unforeseen circumstance, we will try to give you as much notice as possible. You can transfer to an alternative course, subject to availability, or we will give you a full refund.
We will make every effort to find a replacement tutor

Unfortunately we are unable to refund any travel, accommodation or other related costs that you may have incurred in booking a course.

Health & Safety

We take our Health and Safety responsibilities very seriously and aim to keep all students safe whilst they take part in classes. All students are fully-insured to participate in lessons and each venue has Public Liability Insurance.

We ask students to listen carefully to any Health and Safety instructions provided by the tutor and familiarise themselves with fire and emergency procedures.

Refreshments

We do provide coffee and refreshments but not lunch. Both venues have local cafes and your own packed lunch can be brought to the venue.

Other Terms and Conditions

Karen Atkinson Workshops reserves the right to change these terms from time to time without reference to customers. These terms and conditions do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer and are governed by and in accordance with British law.
