 Bookings & Payments

Workshops & Reflexology Hubs:

The dates and venues for each Workshop and Reflexology Hub will be stated in the EVENTS area of the website. This section will state all venues and upcoming dates. Introductory and Refresher 1-Day courses and Hubs are paid for when booking and an invoice is sent to the student for payment of that course with bank details. Payment is via BACS transfer once the dates and venue have been agreed with each party via the contacts page.

Once payment is made, a reservation is made on the stated Workshop / Hub. A confirmation email will be sent explaining the details for the event on which they have booked, the details of the venue, and all travel and parking details.

Private Tuition:

The dates and venues for private tuition session are arranged by email directly with the student[s] or clinic manager. Private tuition is 4 hours per session of theory / practical / assessment which is agreed fully prior to commitment of the date and venue. Venues are decided between the student[s] and ourselves for each individual session. The contact page is used for initial queries.

CANCELLATIONS

Once you have confirmed and paid for any booking with Karen Atkinson Workshops you have agreed to our terms and conditions regarding cancellations or changes.

If you need to cancel your place on a workshop, please let us know as soon as possible. If it is more than 48 hours before the date of the first day of the workshop we can offer you one of the following:

• a full refund
• a transfer to another course to be booked within 3 months
• a credit for the sum paid to be used within a calendar year.

If you give less than 48 hours notice -

• we will try to find someone to take your place, in which case we will give you a full refund
• if we cannot fill your place we will refund you 50% of the course fee

If the course has already started we cannot offer you a refund.

If we need to cancel a course, due to tutor illness or other unforeseen circumstances, we will try to give you as much notice as possible and will give a full refund. We usually have two facilitators at each event so it will be unlikely the course will not actually run.

Health & Safety

We take our Health and Safety responsibilities seriously and aim to keep all students safe whilst they take part in our events. All students are fully-insured whilst on our courses and when participating in lessons and whilst working on other students. Each venue has Public Liability Insurance.

We ask students to listen carefully to any Health and Safety instructions provided by the tutor and familiarise themselves with fire and emergency procedures. For venues that have stairs, we will let students know this information prior to booking.

Refreshments

We do provide coffee and refreshments but not lunch. Most venues have local cafes and shops. Your own packed lunch can be brought to venues

Other Terms and Conditions

Karen Atkinson Workshops reserves the right to change these terms from time to time without reference to customers. These terms and conditions do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer and are governed by and in accordance with British law.
